Entrepreneurs, knowledge institutions and public authorities in the Eindhoven Metropolitan Region can apply for funding for collaborative projects that contribute to the economic and social development of the Southeast Brabant region.
The scheme supports projects that stimulate innovation and collaboration and align with the regional challenges of the Brainport region. Examples include conducting feasibility studies, developing business cases, setting up pilots, or building prototypes.
Applications must always be submitted by a partnership of at least two regional parties.
Within the Stimuleringsfonds, a distinction is made between two types of projects:
Catalyst projects (such as explorations, studies or pilots)
Implementation projects (such as the realisation or further development of an innovative concept or prototype)
Projects must demonstrate a clear contribution to the development of the region, for example by supporting innovation, economic growth, job creation, or strengthening the business climate.
The scheme primarily supports projects with clear regional added value and collaboration between parties within the Brainport region.
