The SLIM scheme is aimed at SMEs investing in the structural improvement of learning and development within their organisation.
The subsidy for individual SMEs amounts to 60% of eligible costs, with a maximum of € 25.000 per application.
Eligible costs include internal staff costs and external costs, such as hiring an external consultant or costs related to developing a learning and development (L&D) approach.
The SLIM scheme supports SMEs in structurally strengthening learning and development within their organisation. The subsidy can be used for the following activities:
A. Organisational analysis
Assessing the development needs within the organisation, resulting in a training or development plan aimed at strengthening a learning-oriented work environment.
B. Career and development advice for employees
Providing individual career or development advice to give employees insight into their development opportunities and sustainable employability.
C. Developing or implementing a learning and development approach
Developing or implementing a structured approach to learning and development, such as setting up a company academy, an online learning environment (digital knowledge and learning platform), e-learning solutions, or a system for periodic development reviews.
A strong SLIM application clearly demonstrates how the selected activities contribute to a sustainable learning culture and how they align with the company’s strategic development.
