The Subsidieregeling Praktijkleren is intended for companies that offer work placements or practical training positions to students in pre-vocational education (VMBO), special education (VSO and PRO), vocational education (MBO-BBL), higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO)
The subsidy amounts to a maximum of € 2,700 per realised work placement per school / academic year. The application is submitted retrospectively on an annual basis, after the end of the academic year.
The Subsidieregeling Praktijkleren (Work-Based Learning Subsidy Scheme) supports employers in offering students practical work experience within their organisation. It specifically concerns supervised placements within an accredited training programme, rather than regular internships without a formal learning component. The subsidy is intended to compensate part of the costs associated with supervising pupils and students.
Applications are submitted to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and require a valid work placement agreement.
